of the Universe Magazine
UK. Issue #61,
In this issue's comedy strip, Orko finds that in his
home, time really flies!
Story 1: "The Island Skeletor"
He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, Orko, Fisto, and Sy-Klone
are on a voyage over the Eternian ocean. Suddenly they
find themselves on top of a giant waterfall, about to
tip over the edge- but He-Man and Man-At-Arms twist
round the sail to form a parachute, so they instead
glide into the air and land safely in the sea below.
Just then, they are attacked by a Koma-Beast, but Orko
scares it away with one of his spells. Then they find
a strange-looking island, and decide to explore it.
(cont'd in next part)
This issue's letters page features a letter from Mark
Peoples, asking if Faker will appear in the comic again.
Scrollos promises that he will, though he never kept
that promise, even though the comic desperately needed
another Faker appearance. There is also an interesting
question from Graham Hagley, referring to "Double
Split" in issue #7, asking why cosmium affects
He-Man's body but not his sword.
Story 2: "The Island Skeletor", Cont'd
As they explore the strange island, the heroic warriors
are attacked by Rotons, which zap freeze rays down on
them, freezing them inside cylinders of glass. Skeletor
then imprisons them in a secret lair on the island,
but Orko has managed to escape, and messes with the
control panel, freeing the warriors. they try to escape
down a tunnel, but find themselves being attacked by
Skeletor's henchmen..... (cont'd in next part)
Story 3: "The Island Skeletor", Cont'd
Orko distracts the evil warriors by conjuring up a stream
of gold coins, which they all instantly rush towards.
Skeletor sends a dragon after the heroic warriors as
they run on, but they attack it together and fling it
into a river, then they escape completely, and Skeletor
blows up the island. The heroic warriors get back in
their ship and return to Eternos.
