On October, the 18th 2002, a sensational message went through the USA: Kids
took over the Power of Grayskull and made clear that MATTEL's He-Man and thus
the Masters of the Universe toyline were back again!

Now, it will also hit Germany, because one of the most popular action-figure
lines in toy history, the Masters of the Universe, will return to kids rooms
in Fall.

The Masters of the Universe product made from 1982 to 1991 profit of more
than 2 billion dolloars worldwide on toys and licence products. The new toyline
will come in changed form, in exciting, new cartoons and a collection of
up-to-date clothes and products.

"We are very glad of being able to bring back He-Man for a new generation of
fans", says Mark Sullivan, Sullivan, Senior Vice President of Marketing for
MATTEL Boys/Entertainment in El Segundo. "After 20 years, the reintroduction
is getting welcomed enthusiastically by old and new fans, who are excited
about the new action-figures and cartoon-show."

The Legend of Grayskull
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe were brought to the market by Mattel
in 1982 for the first time and belonged to the most-sold action-figures of
all time. The Original Masters of the Universe Cartoon-Show got introduced in
1983 with 130 episode where Good fought against Evil. Today, the Legend of
Grayskull is getting retold again by fans on 57.000 websites, which contain the
classic toys and cartoon-shows.

For the reintroduction, Mattel has desigend a completely new toyline that
contains action-figures, collector-figures and accessoires, playsets, cars and
RPG products. The Four Horsemen - the awarded Designteam Chris Dahlberg, Eric
Mayse, Jim Preziosi and Eric Treadaway - have worked with the
Mattel-Designers to create updated figures, encouraged from the popular animated japanese
graphic-style and the way, how today's youth loves it.
