At his lair Tauron, the evil wizard, casts a spell. His spell-casting turns the sky stormy, and Adam, Orko, and Cringer must find shelter from the impending rain. In a cave they encounter Manticore. Tauron's spell brings Orko's uncle Montork and his pet Gark from Trolla. When the two are being magically transported to Tauron, they become separated. Gark goes before Tauron, while Montork lands in front of the Manticore. He-Man and Battle Cat quickly defeat the beast. Using Gark as a guide, Tauron discovers where Montork is located, and soon takes control of him. Montork and Gark travel to Castle Grayskull and battle the Sorceress. He-Man rushes to help the Sorceress, while Battle Cat and Orko travel to Tauron's lair to get the amulet. Orko grabs Tauron's amulet and orders it to send them to Castle Grayskull. He-Man stops Montork and Gark whose allegiances are weakening. Orko talks to Montork and makes him realize whom he really is. Montork breaks the spell and gives He-Man the amulet, which he destroys promptly. Tauron withers away. Montork and Gark return to Trolla.

Orko
"My Uncle Montork taught me a lot about magic, but not just the regular kind. He taught me how to see the magic that's all around us. Like for instance, it just has to be magic get anything as beautiful as a rainbow. And there's real magic in the way a mother takes care of her young. But as my uncle said, the most wonderful magic of all is just being alive! Bye now!"

Spacedust 8/14/2006 (a review that is old... a review that is new... ) I've never really been able to decide how I feel about "Orko's Favourite Uncle". I wouldn't say I particularly like it nor dislike it. The episode is notable that, when going by the original production order, this episode actually appears *after* 'The Return of Orko's Uncle'. This episode has some good moments, but I'd only rate this one average. I don't really have any feelings about it either way. As reflected by an uncommonly short review. Overall 7 out of 10.
